It’s like having a whole arsenal at your fingertips! And speaking of the city, Manhattan has been expanded in this game compared to the previous Amazing Spider-Man game. Me, John, and Sarah just finished playing The Amazing Spider-Man 2 game on our PS4 and we were blown away! We loved being able to play as Peter Parker and uncover the motives of all the villains. It added a whole new layer to the game that we didn’t expect.
The All-Star Villain Cast was definitely a highlight for us. We were able to battle against a wide variety of villains from the Spider-Man universe and even ones from the movies. Each boss battle was unique and challenging, keeping us on our toes throughout the game.
But the real star of the game was the new web arsenal. The expanded web-shooter capabilities and chemical properties made for some incredibly fun gameplay. We especially loved freezing and blowing up items on impact – it never got old! And with an even more expansive NYC to explore, we couldn’t get enough of being Spider-Man.
Overall, this game was an absolute blast to play. We couldn’t stop laughing at each other’s heroic (or sometimes not so heroic) actions in the new Heroism System.
